About the course/workshop

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic it would be nearly impossible to hold a physical course considering the need for maintaining social distancing and potential risks involved to everyone involved. This has made us rethink and explore new ways to replicate our course and do our very best to help Radiology education. 

This is quite exciting to be organising the 2021 Online Knee MRI Reporting Workshop. We had fantastic feedback from our first Online workshop in Nov 2020 and we are pretty optimistic that we have an enthusiastic team to run this course again with a fantastic faculty onboard. 

This would benefit anyone involved in interpreting Knee MRI Examinations like Radiologists, Orthopaedicians, Sports Physicians, Reporting Radiographers and MSK Physiotherapists.

We are a team of MSK Radiologists who are highly enthusiastic, motivated and committed to Radiology Education. We look forward to giving you an educational experience to remember and cherish during your work.

Learning objectives

The course is structured with short presentations on key topics, reporting themed cases followed by tutor review of cases by faculty.

Example Session: Short presentation on Meniscal tears with tips on how to look for and how to describe different types of tears, followed by review of a range of sequential themed cases highlighting reporting techniques, terminologies and management implications.

One full day of workshop will include working on approximately 90 themed cases covering range of topics: 

Approach to Reporting Knee MRI

Meniscal tears

Ligamentous injuries

Extensor mechanism/tendon pathology

Cartilage and Synovial Disorders and 

Post-Operative Knee. 

On completion of this reporting workshop we expect you to be able to confidently report most Knee MRI examinations in your day to day practice and know when to ask someone else. 

This course is intended to help you in developing a structured approach to interpretation, fine-tune your skills and enhance your performance. 

It is the most affordable and most efficient course I have ever attended.

I think it’s one of the best MSK workshops I attended !

I found that this workshop was an incredible learning experience. I have rated every section as a 5 (highest and most satisfactory). The reason for this, is that at the end of every section i felt extremely satisfied with the content that was delivered. Nothing was rushed and everything was delivered in a well structed manner.

The interaction with the tutors was excellent. No question was ignored and the monitoring of the chat ensured this. At no point did i not feel that i could not ask a question, the teaching session was very relaxed and friendly. I think the way it was delivered through some and the PACs system was exceptional! It was very smooth and easily accessible. This is my first time on the course and i will certainly be back for more! There is nothing for me that you could have done better. Again thank you for being such patient and friendly teachers. I really do look forward to more talks.

I think it was the best Knee MRI workshop. It exceeded my expectations. The design of the course ; lectures followed by cases is great . The fact that cases are available for a week to revisit also helps a lot . Has increased the standard of my reporting many folds . This was a very well run program. It is always of value when there is definite transferable learning that can be easily incorporated into professional practice. The two recorded presentation were a little fast however that may be because they covered areas i was less confident in.

Excellent organisation and cases. Online DICOM makes it interactive and engaging. I will very much look forward to attending this in person as the learning experience is not as immersive virtually.

The practicality of this course really made it amazing. To actually look through real cases and have them explained in a practical way was so useful.

Excellent course to refresh. you and the faculty are clearly very knowledgeable. The teaching method was excellent with frequent repetition to re-emphasise. The flow of day and working through individual parts of the knee before combining them in complex case re-enforces the methodical approach to interpretation.

Truly excellent course. Brilliant cloud PACS allowed me to actually look at the scans and try and make a diagnosis rather than being shown pathology which is much easier to forget. The lectures were great for reinforcing the knowledge and the opportunity to ask questions was fantastic. I really loved being able to do this from home, I cannot compliment enough the organisation and facilities.
